Harper and Company, Inc. sells, installs and services swimming pool equipment, products and chemicals to commercial swimming pools.

Established in 1912, E.A. Harper and Company, Inc. was where the current Harper and Company, Inc we see today originated from. The owners of the company, Charles Harper Jr. and Jennifer Harper, established Harper and Company in 1997. While Charles was working for his father's company, he was the first to introduce tanker chlorine (Sodium Hypochlorite) deliveries to Eastern, Central and Western regions of Virginia in the mid eighties. By the late eighties, the company was selling swimming pool chemicals that led into supplying Stranco/Siemens automatic pH/chlorine controllers and filter systems. The business expanded to Richmond, Fairfax, Roanoke, Bristol, DC and Maryland in the nineties. Today, Harper and Company is the largest commercial swimming pool supply company servicing the entire MidAtlantic region.

Being a certified instructor to teach a, Board of Education approved, Aquatics Facility Operators (AFO) course in 1998. Harper and Company has nationally certified over two thousand operators to date.

There are currently seventeen fantastic part-time and full-time employees that are keeping the company top in their field.
